The one-day conference provided an outlook for the offshore oil and gas industry from an international

perspective. A panel of recognized marine offshore industry leaders discussed the 2002-2004 outlooks for the

following industry segments: offshore drilling, marine transportation, marine construction, offshore

equipment/services and commercial underwater services. Areas of impact included equipment utilization,

regulatory policy, personnel and training, financial constraints and problems, and technological developments.

The luncheon program provided a look at future development opportunities in the offshore oil and gas industry.
