Subsequent to the Asian Tsunami Disaster, the Department of Mineral Resources of Thailand (DMR) in cooperation with CCOP (CCOP Cooperating Countries and Organizations) will be holding an international seminar on Tsunami in response to the role of geoscience in the post tsunami rehabilitation and reconstruction, longer term tsunami mitigation and early warning and creating public awareness.
