The CCOP Action Planning was organized on 19-20 August 2015 in Bangkok, Thailand with attendance by Chairman of CCOP Steering Committee, Chairman of Advisory Group, members of the Working Committee and representatives of 11 member countries. The meeting aimed to come up with practical action plans that are based on SMART goals (Specific, Measurable, Agreed upon, Realistic and Time-based).
The meeting came up with an Action Plan for 2016-2020 for carrying out the CCOP Strategic Plan 2016-2020 which was adopted in principle by the 64th SC Meeting held in Krabi, Thailand on March 2015. This was then circulated to all the Member Countries for their comments by 1 October 2015.
The final draft of the Action Plan will be tabled at the upcoming 65th SC Meeting this November 2015 in Xian, China.
